With emphasis on safety, WCG & STI recommend that “fall zones” be established to reduce injury from falls around climbing and slide equipment. While mulch and recycled rubber gained much popularity in the construction of playgrounds over the past decade, the unintended consequences of their use were soon realized. Mulch rots over time and needs to be replaced frequently. It’s also dirty, stains clothes, and is a breeding ground for fungus and mildew. Recycled rubber leaves black marks on shoes and clothes, and winds up getting tracked throughout the school or home.

SoftLawn® turf provides a one-year warranty on installation defects and eight year warranty on the material. (Eight year warranties on all SoftLawn® products providing there is rubber and/or rubber and sand infill).
